PRE-PHOTOSHOOT HOME PREP CHECKLIST
Please review and use our home prep list @ https://www.austinlistingphotos.com/home-prep-checklist
DOES THE OWNER OR AGENT NEED TO BE THERE FOR THE PHOTOSHOOT?
No, and we kindly ask that all occupants including the agent leave during the photoshoot. Why? Because the photographer is able to focus on their very best compositions and processes with no one present. We are trustworthy, background checked, and have been TREC licensed with continuous status since 2011. We have SUPRAKEY access. If it is not possible for occupants to leave, we will photograph one room first and ask that all occupants and pets remain in that room for the entire photoshoot.
How do I book a photography session with you?
Booking a photography session is easy. Please use our convenient online order form @ https://www.austinlistingphotos.com/book/ or text Scott @ 512-993-6852. We will find a convenient date and time for your session.
How long does a typical photo session last?
The duration of a photoshoot will vary somewhat depending on the size of the home and its furnishings. Vacant homes will usually take the least time while luxury homes will always take longer. On average, it will take 1 to 1.5 hours. If you add a Zillow 3D Home Tour, please allow an additonal 30 to 45 minutes. Rest assured we will photograph the home as quickly as possible without ever sacrificing quality and premium composition. IMPORTANT: We ask that all occupants and agent leave during the photoshoot. It is best plan on 2 hour's duration for a standard photoshoot with 3D tour.
How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
We understand the anticipation of seeing your final photos. Our delivery time goal is 12 noon next day but at least within 24 hours of shoot time. In some cases, delivery is by 6:00 pm next day. Depending on the volume of images and the complexity of editing required - in rare cases, there may be a 2-day delivery. Any photoshoots conducted on Saturday may be delivered Monday morning as Sundays are our 1 day off to recharge. We ALWAYS prioritize quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional images that exceed your expectations.
What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of the shoot?
If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of a shoot, we can discuss rescheduling the session. We want to ensure the best possible outcome for your photos, and we're flexible in adapting to unforeseen circumstances. Keep in mind, if it is necessary to shoot with less than sunny weather, interiors often photograph beautifully on gloomy or rainy days and any gloomy skies can be replaced in Photoshop with beautiful skies and we will do so at no extra charge.
WHAT IF THE HOME WON't BE READY AND I NEED TO CANCEL THE SHOOT?
We kindly ask for 12 hour's notice if you need to cancel otherwise a $75 cancellation fee may be applied to your invoice.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE HOME IS NOT READY WHEN THE PHOTOGRAPHER ARRIVES?
If the home is not 100% ready at the time of the scheduled photoshoot and the photographer is made to wait beyond 15 minutes, there will be a $50 fee applied to the invoice. Please be sure the home is ready well in advance of the scheduled photoshoot time to avoid a fee. If the home is still not ready after 15 minutes, the photographer may choose to cancel the shoot and charge a $150 cancel/reschedule fee.
